Kideo Talks – the podcast: #11 The parent committee

Each Kideo location has a parent committee, comprised of parents from the childcare and/or after-school care facilities. The goal of a parent committee is to maintain and improve the quality of childcare, in collaboration with the organization. The parent committee advises the childcare organization, both solicited and unsolicited, on the advisory topics stipulated in the Childcare Act. In episode 11 of the Kideo Talks podcast series, we speak with two members of the Kideo Assen parent committee: Hanna and Daniël. They tell us more about the parent committee's work, its advisory rights, how to contact the parent committee, and how to apply for membership. Daniël also shares his personal experience with Kideo Assen in this blog post about mentoring at Kideo. Listen to Kideo Talks here: #11 The Parent Committee

Kideo and its network hold a wealth of information and knowledge. We're happy to share this information and knowledge with Kideo parents, other (expectant) parents, and other interested parties through this podcast. Several episodes will be released in the coming weeks, covering various topics that you, as a (expectant) parent, might be struggling with, find interesting, or encounter. Examples of these topics include sleep and daylight saving time, reading aloud, busy holidays, and nutrition.
