Kideo Talks – the podcast: #11 The parent committee

Each Kideo location has a parent committee, consisting of a number of parents from childcare and/or after-school care. The purpose of a parent committee is to maintain and improve the quality of childcare, in collaboration with the organization. The parent committee provides solicited and unsolicited advice to the childcare organization on the advice topics laid down in the Childcare Act. In episode 11 of the podcast series Kideo Talks, we talk to two members of the parent committee of Kideo Assen: Hanna and Daniël. They tell us more about what the parent committee does, the parent committee's advisory rights, contacting the parent committee or registering with the parent committee. Daniël also shares his personal experience with Kideo Assen in this blog about mentorship at Kideo. Listen here Kideo Talks: #11 The parent committee

Kideo Talks - the podcast

A lot of information and knowledge is available within Kideo and the Kideo network. We would like to share this information and knowledge with Kideo parents, other (prospective) parents and other interested parties in this podcast. Various episodes will be released online in the near future, covering different themes. Themes that you as a (prospective) parent may be concerned about, find interesting or encounter. Examples of these themes are sleeping and winter time, reading aloud, busyness during the holidays and nutrition.
