Staff
Kideo is committed to children and quality. This is, of course, impossible without well-trained and skilled staff.
The most common position at Kideo Daycare Centers is that of a childcare worker. Childcare workers hold a diploma from one of the programs described in the Childcare Collective Labor Agreement.
In addition to proper training, Kideo Kinderdagverblijven believes it's important that its staff have a passion for children and their work. Careful selection is made based on this, along with other competencies and skills.
Kideo offers students the opportunity to gain practical experience at Kideo. Kideo makes every effort to ensure the right match between motivated interns and the daycare center. This way, students are trained as professionals with the required competencies. Kideo also helps to bring well-trained childcare workers into the field. Interns are always surplus to requirements at Kideo. They are supervised by a childcare worker from the group where they are staying during their internship. The minimum internship duration for an intern at Kideo is six months, with a maximum of a full school year. Kideo has the required Calibris accreditation for Level 3 and 4 internships.
Kideo uses support staff who perform services such as painting, maintenance, cleaning, gardening, backup at the start/end of the day, after-school care (BSO) transport (Kideo Assen), etc. Volunteers can also perform various tasks if there are suitable candidates.
All educational staff, support staff, administration, interns and any volunteers must have a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
