How much does after-school care cost for me?
At Kideo, we offer various after-school care (BSO) packages, tailored to the rhythm of school weeks and holidays. The rates are gross amounts , excluding childcare allowance. You can easily calculate your contribution using our calculator on the website.
The packages mentioned include picking up children from school, activity programs, healthy snacks and supervision by permanent educational staff.
PHASE 1 - Completed
In the coming months we will be working on the first phase of the renovation, which will see us create two groups in May: one group for children aged 0 to 2 years and one group for children aged 2 to 4 years.
PHASE 2
In the second phase, we will work towards completing the entire daycare program, adding the final two groups so we have a dedicated group for each age group. We expect this to be completed in early 2026. If enrollment increases significantly in the coming period, the second phase will be completed sooner.
Childcare allowance
The amounts listed are gross rates . This means that in many cases, you'll receive a significant portion of the costs back through the government's childcare allowance. The amount of this allowance depends on your income and family situation. You can easily calculate your net monthly costs using our own calculation tool on the website.

Closing days & continued payment during holidays, vacations and illness
Our daycare is closed on the following national holidays:
New Year's Day (January 1)
Easter Monday
Whit Monday
Christmas Day and Boxing Day
Although there is no childcare on these days, these days are still included in the monthly amount . We use an annual average: the number of childcare days per year is divided over 12 months. This means you pay the same amount every month, regardless of the number of childcare days in a specific month. This prevents variable monthly amounts and simplifies the application for childcare allowance.
This principle also applies to holidays and illness. We always use the government-recommended hourly rate, taking into account that parents take an average of four weeks of vacation per year.
Additional care and customization
Sometimes you need a little something extra outside your regular contract days. At Kideo, we offer flexible solutions, always in consultation and based on availability.

All additional childcare requests are made through our parent portal .

Extra care and exchange days
Do you need occasional extra childcare or would you like to swap a day? You can easily arrange this through our parent portal.
Extra days
Would you like your child to attend an additional day outside their regular contract? You can do so through the parent portal. Additional days will be charged at a slightly higher rate. We'll assess each request to determine if there's sufficient space and let you know as soon as possible if childcare is available.
Exchange days
It's possible to swap a daycare day with another day within four days before or four days after the original day. You can also arrange this through the parent portal. Swap days are subject to availability and will be confirmed as soon as there is sufficient space in the group.
