The parent committee of Kideo childcare
At Kideo childcare, we work closely with the parent committee. We value their input. The parent committee represents the children who attend Kideo and their parents. We view our daycare as a
Second home . We are jointly responsible for raising our children. That's why the parent committee's role is so crucial.
The parent committee enables Kideo's management to review policy and, together with parents, assess how we're doing. Are we on the same page with the parents? The committee also provides us with the information we need to remain that second home as a daycare center.
Tasks of the parent committee
The committee advises Kideo's management on various important aspects of our childcare. The committee can also propose agenda items for discussion.
Under the Childcare Act, the parent committee has the right to advise on:
- the general policy in the areas of education, safety, health, play and development activities;
- the pedagogical policy plan ;
- the food policy ;
- the complaints procedure ;
- price changes ;
- opening hours;
- the manner in which the policy regarding the deployment of personnel is implemented.
