Kideo is a private initiative founded in 2001. The core principle of Kideo daycare centers was and remains to offer high-quality childcare . We provide warmth and safety and stimulate your child's development through play. Kideo is truly an extension of home.
In recent years, Kideo has made a name for itself in childcare in the three northern provinces. Kideo has three locations: Groningen , Drachten , and Assen .

The quality and professionalism of Kideo daycare centres is reflected in several areas.
First of all , all our instructors are trained and experienced as pedagogical staff. They have completed a vocational (MBO) or higher professional education (HBO) program and are experts in their field.
We value contact with parents. Not only for exchanging information, but also for facilitating a smooth bonding process. To truly feel at home at Kideo, your child needs to be able to bond with the staff. Good communication with you as a parent plays a crucial role in this.
High-quality environment
Our buildings are fully geared towards the needs of children. Each age group has its own space, designed so children can explore safely. The play materials provided are age-appropriate and stimulate their development. In a space tailored to their age group, your child can play undisturbed. The space offers challenging objects for every child.
In the child-friendly gardens of the three daycare centers, children can enjoy playing outdoors. Fresh air, plenty of exercise, great play equipment, and sturdy fencing for safe play. None of this is a coincidence. It's driven by a professional vision.
Age groups
At all our locations , we offer childcare for children aged 0 to 4. We've divided them into different age groups, each with its own dedicated space. Our Assen location also offers childcare for primary school-aged children ( after-school, out-of-school, and holiday care ).
Where does the name 'Kideo' come from?
The name Kideo is derived from the words "kids" and "video." The latter means "I see." Kideo not only focuses on children and quality, but also has a clear vision . The eye in our logo refers to this and symbolizes openness and vision.
