Registration, Tour, Intake Interview, Adjustment or Cancellation
Placement regulations for after-school care at Kideo
We believe it's important to arrange the placement of children in our after-school care program carefully and transparently. Below, you can read about the process, what information we need from you, and how we handle waiting lists.
To register
Would you like to register your child for our after-school care? You can contact us in two ways:
- Complete the registration form on our website
- Send an email to info@kideo.nl with the following information:
Name of your child
Date of birth
Desired start date
Desired location
Desired care days
As soon as we have received all the necessary information, we will process your registration.
Current situation: long waiting list
There's currently a long waiting list for our after-school care program. Children already using our childcare will be given priority for placement. After receiving your application, we'll check if there's room on the desired days.
If there's no space available at that time, we'll place your child on the waiting list. As soon as a spot becomes available, we'll contact you. If you'd like, we can schedule a tour so you can get acquainted with our location and working methods.
Confirmation & follow-up
If there is room and your child can be placed:
- You will receive a placement proposal from us by email
- We will discuss the start date and type of care together
- The contract is drawn up and you receive practical information
We'll always contact you when you place a spot. Without our confirmation, your spot isn't definitively reserved.
Guided tour
Only after we've provisionally reserved the daycare days will we schedule a tour of the group. This helps us avoid disappointment. During the tour, you'll meet the childcare staff, the space, and the daily routine. You'll also receive an explanation of our working methods.
Intake interview
A few weeks before the start date you will receive an invitation for an intake interview
Here we discuss your child's personal preferences, rituals, and special circumstances, so we can ensure a smooth start.
Adjust or cancel
After the intake interview, you can still adjust or cancel the contract up to one month before the start date. If you want to postpone the start date, the reserved spot will be canceled and your child will be placed back on the waiting list.
