The wood comes from sustainably managed Spanish forests. By not using acrylic paint, the characteristic properties of the wood are retained. They use opaque water-based paint for the wooden rainbow colors. Then a layer of beeswax is applied. This means the toy retains its natural texture and is 100% safe for children and the environment.
